I’m Jen, a part-time photographer with a full-time fascination with all things pretty. I first picked up the camera in 2011, when my husband and I moved to Hong Kong and I started this blog to help our friends and family back home visualize our new lives. Asia was the perfect place to experiment with photography – not only were we immersed in a completely different culture and were able to travel to so many inspiring places, but I also never felt alone in carrying around a large camera! When we returned back to the U.S. in 2013, I set out to further build my photography skills by way of the classroom, beginning with my technical know-how and eventually exploring new areas such as film and portrait work.
These days, I shoot only in natural light (hello, golden hour!) and am based in Scottsdale, Arizona. I am so grateful to the many friends and friends-of-friends who have trusted me to capture the special moments in their lives and encouraged me along the way.
